There's No Place Like Home!!!

I have just returned from an amazing vacation to the beautiful Island of Montserrat in the Caribbean . I was born there but my family and I left when I was eight years old because the volcano became active on the 18th of July 1995.

Montserrat is only a fifteen minute flight away from Antigua. Obviously I'm biased but to me it's the most beautiful, green and picturesque place I have ever been. There is so much to see and do including snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, visiting the beautiful beaches, boat tours, sight seeing and visiting historical sites. Oh and the food is amazing. You have to try the local fruits and drinks, depending on the season there is mango, guava, sugar apple, soursop (my favourite) sea grapes, five finger, mansiport, hog plums and so much more. The local food is so delicious and will always leave you craving more.

It honestly is a beautiful place to holiday.

Montserrat is so beautiful and serene, I had to share some of my favourite photos with you guys.

Hope you enjoy!!

Christian Louboutin Loving

I was lucky enough to be gifted a pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalles 120 mm for my 25th birthday from my lovely boyfriend Charlon.
It was a great surprise and I wasn't expecting them at all. I had dreamed of owning a pair for a long time, I was soooo excited to receive these shoes.

I absolutely am in love with them, they are not the most comfortable shoes in the world (they are sit down dinner shoes not traipsing around ANYWHERE shoes) and they definetely need a couple of wears before you feel any relief. But they look amazing and complement a lot of clothes in my wardrobe.

They tend not to be true to size and actually run one size smaller. I usually wear a size 4(37) but in Pigalles I wear a  size 3(36).

Below is one of my favourite dresses styled with my now favourite pair of
heels.

Style breakdown:
Dress: River Island
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Pigalle 120mm
Bag: Primark

P.s. Sorry there are no pictures of my face but the wind was really strong that day and I ended up looking like a crazy woman (think cat lady from the Simpsons). So I decided to spare you guys the sight.

        Thanks for visiting my blog.

Neon loving

I have been searching for a neon yellow skirt for such a long time and I finally found one in Internacionale. It's the perfect colour and fits like a dream.

Before I bought this skirt I already had so many outfits planned in my head on how to style it.
I am literally wishing spring into existence just so I could wear these types of outfits.
This skirt would look great with black and white, pastels, brights and grey liked pictured below.

Thanks for taking the time out to view my blog!!!!

Tan-loving

My tan obsession is totally in overdrive right now so I couldn't resist this outfit.
I'm on the beautiful island of Montserrat, soaking up the sunshine. My friends keep telling me how cold the UK is, so I'm not looking forward to going back just yet.

Here's what I wore yesterday:

Style Breakdown:

Bottoms: Primark
Shoes: Matalan

These joggers from Primark are super comfortable and very easy to style. I can't wait to wear them with some strappy heel sandals.

Last year (2013) I purchased a lot of make up but as usual I tend to only wear my favourites. So this year (2014) I plan to shop my stash and use up the items that I have put aside.

I want to experiment more with eyeshadows, I need to get more use out of my sleek pallets. I am really crap at putting on eyeliner so I plan to practise some more. I also want to experiment more with lip colour and step away from my nudes and wear some more pinks, reds and plums.

Do you have any make up resolutions? Let me know!!

Happy New Year

Hi guys,

I just wanted to wish you a happy and successful new year. I have so many plans in store for this blog, it's going to be amazing.

My main New Years resolutions are to blog more, I plan to experiment more with fashion and take alot of pictures and videos. I also plan to get fit, I have given up bread for 3 months ( if you know me u would know bread is my best friend) I have just started a squat challenge and I plan to jog and work out more.

I want to continue my healthy hair journey (expect some posts soon!!!)

Also I have put myself on a spending ban so there won't be many hauls, but I plan to shop my stash...I have some beautiful clothes, so instead of buying new things I need to find chic and creative new ways to wear the clothes I already own...shopping my own stash also includes clothes, shoes, makeup and hair products.I have so many things that I don't use and so for 2014 I plan to get good use out of them.

                     Happy New Year
