Decembers Glamour Magazine

Todays post is all about an amazing magazine freebie, Glamours December issue contains a free Nails Inc Nail Polish which retails for £11. There is also a Body Shop Gift Card that will contain either £3, £15 or even £100. There is also a 20% off at H and M. Amazing right, all this for a magazine which costs only £2.00.

There are four shades of Nails Inc Nail Polishes to collect. I picked up Hanover Square, its a dark purple which is so dark it almost looks black, this shade is a limited edition Glamour collaboration. This nail polish is super glossy and great quality.

The body shop gift card is aptly named Little Card of Christmas Wishes. This is a pre-loaded cars which requires no minimum spend. I checked my code online and discovered my card is worth £3.00 so I'm thinking of  picking up a lip balm or hand cream.

Code 38962 and 38933 = £3.00
Code 38935  = £15.00
I'm not sure what the other codes are.

Lets not forget about the 20% off at H and M card, there is a minimum spend of £20.00 but the card can be used on sale items too.

So what are you waiting for, its time to Pick your copy of Glamour Magazine as they are well and truly spoiling us!!!

Colour Blocking

I have had this pink blouse for years and years and it never fails me, it is ladylike, effortless and chic, the colour is so vibrant that whenever I wear it, I tend to colour block instead of wearing it with neutrals.
The skirt was a bargain at only £8.00, it has an exposed zip which I chose to wear at the back instead of the front. And of course I had to pair the outfit with one of my favorite pair of heels.

Style Breakdown:
Top: Urban Outfitters
Skirt: Primark (still available in stores)
Clutch: Matalan
Heels: River Island
Watch: River Island

                                                                  Thanks for Reading.

Autumn Beauty Picks

A new season is the perfect excuse to not only change up your wardrobe but to also change your makeup.

Eyes: During the autumn months I tend to wear matte brown shades. I really want to change things up so I thought I would try out this palette. This autumn I'm also going to experiment with cream to powder eye shadows.

Lips: I tend to wear dark reds, plums and purples.

Face: I like to keep my face matte, but sometimes I quite like a bronzed look as it looks sun-kissed and dewy as during the autumnal months skin can look dehydrated and dull.

I also tend to wear a full coverage foundation and powder when I want a break from wearing foundation.

Cheeks: I tend to wear dark pinks, reds, plum or just bronzer.

Nails: I love dark shades during autumn, burgundy, purples and chocolate tones. Also I like to be more creative with nail art and experimenting with different textures such as matte, velvet, beads and feathers.

Products:

E.L.F Cosmetics- Powder Brush
Maybelline- Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser
MUA- Winter Forest Palette
Maybelline Nail Polish- Cherry Sin (501)

Polyvore- Autumn/fall outfit!

Welcome to my latest obsession Polyvore, its the worlds largest online styling community ranging from fashion, beauty and home. Its such a great platform you can put together looks (known as sets), shop or just gather inspiration. Its so easy to use and operate both on a PC and via the mobile app, I have challenged myself to create as many 'sets' as possible based on Autumn pieces I already have in my wardrobe.

Below is one of my Autumn inspired looks, I put this look together based on the fact that I have tan over the knee boots, which I'm dying to wear but its still quite warm in London.
How gorgeous are those boots, I'm ever so slightly obsessed with them. And a girl can dream about that Celine bag right. That's what I love about Polyvore it mixes high street and designer with ease.

You can check out my account by clicking here. There's loads to see and do on the site, so join today, Its free.

I'm looking forward to Autumn

The Lip Product Addict Tag

Hi there,

Today's post is all about the makeup we use on our lips. Looking through my makeup collection I realised I am lip product addict, as most of my makeup collection consists of lipsticks, lipgloss, lip stains and other lip products.

There are eight questions in this tag, so let's get started:

1. Favourite balm/treatment:
Elf conditioning lip balm is amazing it relieves and soothes dry lips whilst providing a hint of colour. I love this product especially in the autumn winter months as your lips tend to need a bit more tender loving care.

2. Best eye catching red:
It has to be the classic and iconic MAC Ruby Woo. This is the first lipstick I purchased from MAC, it's matte and suits all skin tones. I just love the feeling it gives you, I put it on and immediately feel amazing.

3. Best luxury & drugstore:
The Yves Saint Laurent Volupte shine lipsticks are amazing, they are long lasting, moisturising and conditioning and leave you with soft kissable lips. The packaging is luxurious and sooo pretty, if you ever want to treat yourself, buy one of these babies.

The Sleek lipstick in Succumb is my absolute favourite lipstick, I love nudes and thats pretty much what I have on my lips 80% of the time. For me this is the perfect my lips but better lip colour, its a sheen finish, moisturising and long lasting.

4. Best MAC lipstick: Bad Girl Riri is a limited edition, matte, browny pink shade. I have been wearing this lipstick all summer long.

5. The most disappointing: Sleek Matte Me, these are so drying and flaky, even with two and three layers of application you don't have great colour payoff, I have really tried to love these, but they are horrendous.

6. Liner- yes or no:
Yes, I am a big fan of liner, I thinks it's an absolute necessity when wearing pinks, nudes and reds.

7. Best gloss:  Elf Glossy Gloss are amazing long lasting, shiny moisturising glosses- my favourite shades are Muted Mauve, Funky Fuschsia and Sparkling Wine.

8. Something extra: Having soft, smooth lips before applying lip products is a must, so I use Lush's Bubblegum lip scrub to gently exfoliate my lips, oh and its edible and tastes of bubble gum what more can a girl ask for.

I really enjoyed doing this tag, what are some of your favourite lip products ? You could comment below or leave a link to your blog if you have already done this tag.

Thanks for reading.

Always Black and White

Hi guys, I'm back.....sorry for the little break, I now have a better camera which means that my picture quality on the blog will be improve. I have so many great things planned, I cant wait to share them.

The day after I recieved the camera I got dressed up to take a few pictures, when I say few, I really mean alot, because we (myself and my photographer, my bf) got carried away. It was so much fun taking these pictures, I have lost a couple of pounds recently so I felt a bit more comfortable in front of the camera.

The weather in London has been a bit strange, just when we thought Autumn was just around the corner it seems like Summer is not ready to leave us yet. The weather is still quite warm, I'm not complaining because I love Summer but I'm really looking forward to Autumn fashion, but hey that's another post.

Wedding flow

Two weeks ago one of my oldest childhood friends got married. It was such a beautiful day, full of family, old friends, laughter and LOVE.

I knew about this wedding for quite some time but I was not quite sure what to wear. I'm still shopping my stash so I was just going to wear an old dress, with new accessories. But then I saw this beautiful dress on sale from Missguided and well fellow shopaholics I couldn't resist.

I knew the dress would be too long as I am 4'11 and Missguided doesn't have a petite department (short girl problems). So I took the dress to my local dry cleaners for it to be altered. This is something I don't do often except for formal and evening dresses.

The dress is called the 'Koemi' and is also available in Black, Cobalt Blue and Nude.

What I wore:

Pink Friday

Just thought I would share with you what I wore to church this week.
The outfit was all about the shoes, they are one of my favourites, it may not look that way but they are very comfortable. I have had them for a couple of years now and I still get so many compliments, when I wear them.
This skirt is the most comfortable thing to wear when you know you are going to have a big dinner, I am really loving this tulip style shape in skirts and dresses too. Its very flattering as it accentuates your hips and streamlines your waist.
I'm still shopping my stash, so no new purchases in this post.

Top: H&M
Skirt: Matalan
